Elizabeth J. Saylor has been with The Law Offices of Peter J. Russo, P.C. since 2004, and her practice concentrates on family law. Liz was drawn to the family law legal profession by her life experiences through her parents' divorce, which she believes has made her a stronger person and a better attorney.
Liz's practice approach focuses on open and timely communication with her clients, which she feels alleviates unnecessary stress for her clients and empowers them to make decisions that best suit their goals. In family law matters, there is a menu of process approaches, such as collaborative, mediation, and traditional representation. Regardless of the selected approach, Liz handles each matter in the same attentive, compassionate, dedicated and goal-focused manner.
Liz is a native of Somerset County, Pennsylvania. She received a dual B.A. in Political Science and Psychology from Washington & Jefferson College, where she graduated cum laude, attained membership into Pi Sigma Alpha National Political Science Honorary Society and Delta Gamma Sorority, and played collegiate volleyball and softball. Liz received her J.D. from the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University, where she was honored as a Miller Center Public Interest Advocate and attained membership onto the Moot Court Board.
Liz is admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar and to the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, American Inns of Court, International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, Collaborative Professionals of Central Pennsylvania, Cumberland County Bar Association Family Law SectionSecretary, Mechanicsburg Business Women, and 5th Wednesday. Liz has received advanced training in family law areas such as Collaborative Law, Mediation, Parenting Coordination, Divorce, and Adoption.
Out of the office, Liz enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and doberman pincher.
